Emily Rohrdanz, MSW, LSWAIC
(She/her/hers)
My name is Emily Rohrdanz, and I am an Independent Clinical Social Worker Associate licensed by the State of Washington (SC61352414). I received my Bachelor of Arts in Social Work and went on to graduate with a Master of Arts in Social Work from Eastern Washington University in 2018.
I have nearly a decade of experience in school settings where I have worked as both a social worker and counselor. I work with adolescents and young adults experiencing a wide range of challenges including depression, anxiety, stress, and major life transitions. I draw from various therapeutic modalities in my practice, such as cognitive behavioral therapy, person-centered therapy, and mindfulness, and tailor my approach to best meet clients' specific strengths and needs.
My goal is to create a warm and non-judgemental space where individuals feel safe to express their thoughts and feelings openly. I believe the client is the expert of their life and my role is to support by providing therapeutic strategies in a collaborative and compassionate manner. I am passionate about helping individuals in their journey to living a more fulfilling life.
